Preliminary date for the next annual picnic will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 probably at the same site in Jupiter, Florida. Please mark your calendar now as this is an open weekend so no football game will be played on this date.

Stay tuned for updates as we hold this event 4 times a year usually starting in October and ending in late May/early June. See you at the next event at the south parking lot of Publix, just 100 yards south of the entrance to Duffys. Corner of US Highway 1 at PGA Blvd/A1A in Palm Beach Gardens. We get participants from far as Wellington, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach and even Stuart. Lots of fun.

Football Season Meeting Sites

Football season is coming. Get ready to watch the games with your fellow Tennessee alums and Vols fans. Here is information on the meeting sites:

All football parties and some basketball parties will be held again at the same place as last year for both chapters. See below for maps for each location.

West Palm Beach Area Alumni Chapter

Primary and main location -Duffy’s Sports Bar, 11588 U.S. Highway 1, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410, 561 721 2650, upstairs in the back with overflows downstairs (same location as the last few years). (Corner of U.S. Highway 1 and PGA Boulevard).

If you have not been in over a year, the upstairs room has new flat screen tv’s including additional ones in the back part of the room. A much better viewing situation. Great room, great crowd and of course great team. Now there are no excuses so get ready for the upcoming football season.

Map to Duffy’s in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (11588 U.S. Highway 1, corner of PGA Blvd and U.S. Highway 1). Get off the Florida Turnpike or I-95 on to PGA Blvd and head east towards the ocean. You will cross over the intra-coastal highway. Turn left (north) on U.S. Highway 1 and then the next right into a strip mall where you will see a Publix grocery store. Duffy’s is just to the left of Publix as you cannot miss it.
