Football season is coming. Get ready to watch the games with your fellow Tennessee alums and Vols fans. Here is information on the meeting sites:
All football parties and some basketball parties will be held again at the same place as last year for the West Palm Beach chapter, but the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale chapter will go to a different place -see below. Go above to each chapter’s webpage for more information about the football party sites:
West Palm Beach Area Alumni Chapter
Primary and main location -Duffy’s Sports Bar, 11588 U.S. Highway 1, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410, 561 721 2650, upstairs in the back with overflows downstairs (same location as the last few years). (Corner of U.S. Highway 1 and PGA Boulevard).
August 2009 Update about Duffy’s. In speaking with the general manager, he has already installed 2 brand new large flat screens in the room where there have been no tvs, making it a much better room for viewing the games. He will replace the 2 projectors with brand new state of the art projectors, install new carpet and decorations and basically make this room the best that it can be for our viewing pleasure. Now there are no excuses so get ready for the upcoming football season.

Map to Duffy’s in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (11588 U.S. Highway 1, corner of PGA Blvd and U.S. Highway 1). Get off the Florida Turnpike or I-95 on to PGA Blvd and head east towards the ocean. You will cross over the intra-coastal highway. Turn left (north) on U.S. Highway 1 and then the next right into a strip mall where you will see a Publix grocery store. Duffy’s is just to the left of Publix as you cannot miss it.
